Camp Cheerio offers traditional summer camps, high adventure camps, and year-round retreats for everyone in the family. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and Virginia, Cheerio invites you to come and learn, grow, and have fun in a relaxed Christian atmosphere.

Camp Cheerio
Camp Cheerio is a traditional summer camp for boys and girls who are rising 2nd-10th graders located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
- Overnight summer camp
- One & two week sessions
- 135 acres of gorgeous mountain land
- Over 35 fun traditional camp activities including archery, canoeing, fishing, arts & crafts, basketball, golf, lacrosse, zumba, riflery, LEGOs, free swim, climbing, & horseback riding
Cheerio on the New River
New for summer 2025! Enrolling rising 4th graders!
Cheerio on the New River is an adventure camp for boys and girls who are rising 4th-10th graders located on the New River in Virginia.
- Overnight summer camp
- One week sessions
- 150 acres in the valley of the New River
- Over 20 adventure-based outdoor activities including mountain biking, tree climbing, boating, orienteering, fishing, backpacking and more!
Year Round Programs
Camp Cheerio is more than summer camp! We offer Family Camp weekends, Mother Daughter weekends, Y-Guide programs, and week long Senior Adult Camps!
