Activities

A wide range of activities is offered during your stay at Camp Cheerio.  Fishing, guided morning walks, canoeing, arts and crafts, ping-pong, archery, riflery, skeet shooting, card games, bingo, and tennis are some of the many activities you may participate in while at Cheerio.  Once at camp, you will be given a copy of the schedule to be followed during your stay.  You have the opportunity to participate in as many activities as you like.

Evening Programs

Each night the entire camp celebrates a different theme.  These may include: Ol’ Time Barn Dance, Song ‘n Skit Night, Carnival Night and Indoor Scavenger Hunt.  Evening programs give campers a chance to have fun, relax, and become better acquainted with fellow participants.

Out of Camp Trips

In addition, bus trips to Stone Mountain State Park (and various other destinations) are offered each session. Campers see the 700’ granite dome as it rises from the valley below and enjoy the two-mile round-trip walk to Stone Mountain Waterfalls.
