Lodging

Millis Lodge has 20 private rooms available for adult groups or families. Each inn-like room has a private bath, and linens and towels are provided. Campers who stay on the second floor enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch. Millis Lodge has four handicap-accessible rooms (queen bed), six family rooms (queen bed and bunk bed set), and twelve rooms with two twin beds.

Youth and teenage groups are quartered in the Indian Guide Lodge and duplex cabins. Each heated cabin has its own bathroom and space for 12-18 campers. The Indian Guide Lodge has a cabin in each of its four corners, boasting a large central meeting room complete with fireplace and rocking chairs. Campers who stay in the Indian Guide Lodge and other cabins provide their own linens, blankets, towels, and pillows. Meals

Meals are included during your stay at Cheerio, and a Saturday night snack is provided for weekend groups at no extra charge. All meals are served buffet-style in the dining hall. Camp meal times are 8:30 AM, 12:30PM, and 6:00 PM; the serving line is open for 30 minutes. A copy of a typical menu is available upon request.

Meeting Facilities

Our modern two-story conference center is the perfect place for your gatherings. Each floor of the Sloan Center has a large meeting room that can be arranged to meet your group's needs. Beautiful stone fireplaces and convenient bathroom facilities enhance each meeting area. Meeting space is provided at no extra charge, and audio-visual equipment is available with prior arrangement.

Other meeting spaces include the lodge (reserved for Indian Guide Lodge guests), the new wing of the dining hall, the gazebo, and the outdoor vespers area.

Other Facilities

Many campers enjoy the recreational facilities during their free time. Camp Cheerio has a gymnasium, a three-acre lake, disc golf course, four tennis courts, playing fields, swimming pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting), and hiking trails. Canoes and sporting equipment are available on a check-out basis.
