What's going on at Cheerio?

2009 is going to be a big year for Cheerio and our summer looks like it is headed towards being a huge success. We've added a few new things around camp this year which includes a new climbing tower is being built as we speak (no name for it yet, any ideas?), we have replaced the gym roof (so no more leaks, Yeah!), the new staff building will be ready to move into near the first of June, the dining hall received all new glass doors, and we are currently renovating old Hatteras cabin in the gym!

New Construction
The new staff cabin/office will consist of offices upstairs for administration
and offices downstairs for camp programs.

New Climbing Tower
This tower will just add to our other cool climbing elements that
we have at camp.  We now have a total of four climbing courses:
High Ropes, the Vertical Playpen and two climbing towers!

New Gym Roof
The gym roof received a wonderful and needed face lift!  The outside roof is green, which blends in nicely with camp!  As for the inside, you can see that the white roof creates a very bright setting and helps bring in the daylight from outside.  The gym also received new doors!

New Dining Hall Doors
These new doors add a new classy touch to our already awesome dining hall.
Can't wait to have to clean these daily because of the 400 handprints that will touch them during the week!
